Richard Lawrence ’67


Richard Lawrence started his career at Abrams-Rubaloff & Associates (AR&A) an agent for voice over performers and celebrities.

In 1976 he founded Richard Lawrence Enterprises, a personnel management company representing actors, comedians, and TV hosts. In 1984, Lawrence acquired AR&A, renaming it Abrams-Rubaloff & Lawrence, which in 2003 was renamed Rebel Entertainment Partners, representing production companies, executive producers, directors, and actors for film and TV.

Lawrence’s many industry credits include selling TV shows such as Judge Judy, The Rebel Billionaire with Richard Branson, Crossing Over with John Edward, and Real Stories of the Highway Patrol, in addition to many others.

Richard currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Malibu Township Council, and was recently re-elected to the Board of Directors for the Association of Talent Agents, earning the most votes of any talent agent on the ballot.
