“Day in the Life” is a behind-the-scenes, insider look into companies and organizations within the arts, entertainment and media industries, as part of the 2010 UB Coast to Coast Symposium (UBC2C NYC) for students and young alumni from the University at Buffalo eager to learn directly from, and network with, professionals in the field. Attendees will be pre-registered with a maximum number of participants pre-determined by your organization. All “Day in the Life” visits will take place on Friday, July 23, with a suggested time frame between 1 and 4 p.m.
Ideas for an itinerary include:
• Presentation to the group by key staff about your company/organization
• Q&A time
• Tour
• Observation time (such as dress rehearsals or live performances)
• Workshops/hands-on time (such as an improvisation workshop)
• Small-group breakout meetings with career-specific staff
• Extended group presentation bringing in career-specific staff
• Lunch or refreshments for attendees
• Other ideas welcome
